Introducing CADC’s New Co-Presidents: Anthony Marsilio and Emily Russo

We are excited to announce that Anthony Marsilio and Emily Russo are now Co-Presidents of the Connecticut Art Directors Club.

Anthony and Emily are creative advocates to their core.  through and through. They’ve taken different paths to get here, but they share the same belief that strong ideas matter—and so does the community behind them. 

Anthony’s journey to today hasn’t been a straight line—and that’s exactly what makes it compelling. From optimizing parking lot layouts to launching a men’s apparel brand, working as a freelance photographer to designing for hospitality groups, and now as a Creative Lead at Athetlic Brewing Co. where he has evolved the brand’s visual identity, Ant’s story is one with intention. And it’s the type of intention he seeks to bring out in others. 

A long-time CADC board member, Anthony has consistently shown up for this community, championing thoughtful work and the people behind it.

Emily is a creative leader known for turning big ideas into work that moves people—and moves the needle. From brand campaigns to content strategy, she has led teams that bring bold thinking to life across various mediums. She has partnered with iconic brands like the NFL, MLB, Amazon, Target, Walmart, Blue Buffalo, General Mills, PetSmart, Nasdaq, the US Open, Merrill Lynch, and Mastercard.

With a leadership style rooted in clarity and collaboration, Emily creates space for creatives to do their best work. She’s a strong advocate for mentorship, always willing to support rising talent navigating their creative careers—one of the many reasons she’s been an invaluable asset to the CADC. 

Together, Anthony and Emily bring experience, perspective, and a real commitment to continuing the CADC’s mission of connecting creatives to their potential.
