Graphic Artist/Illustrator

Responsibilities

  • Develop/create artwork for t-shirts, apparel & specialty items
  • Screen print pre-production separator
  • Create, produce and coordinate print projects including product brochures
  • Work with other designers with graphic layouts and t-shirt designs
  • Meet with and present artwork to clients

Requirements

  • Strong skills in illustration, typography and branding
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency with desktop publishing programs: InDesign, Photoshop
  • Solid understanding of production skills needed to prepare and set up files for press
  • Carry out color separations (4-color and spot for screen printing)
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a team environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Communications or Illustration

Graphic Design Internship

This position involves working together with the creative director, account team, and several other (in-house and interspersed) creatives to write, primarily, for a client in the energy and network marketing industry. Mid-level copywriter with agency experience

We're looking for a big thinker who can write good. Wait...we mean, who can write well. Actually, writing well isn't quite good enough. We're looking for someone who can knock our clients and their customers out of their seats simply using the power of imagination and the written (and sometimes spoken) word.

You'll be working with a powerhouse collaborative team to conceptualize and create digital experiences with meaningful impact. And you'll be heavily involved during every step of the process--from the initial brainstorms to the client presentations to the final deliverables--turning a creative brief into a creative masterpiece.

Sound like something you can handle? Then we want to hear from you. But first, some important details...

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years agency experience...as a copywriter. Obviously, interactive experience is a major plus. Offline experience gets you a few bonus points.
  • An impressive creative portfolio is a must. Don't just show us your skills...blow us away.

Responsibilities:

  • Write captivating copy that solves problems, delivers results, wins awards (hopefully) and is consistent with brand and client strategy
  • Create concepts and messages for a variety of digital and non-digital touch points, including websites, banner ads, emails, video scripts and more
  • Lead and participate in all stages of work from ideation to production

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Exceptional ability to write interesting, inspiring copy, meeting a wide variety of client needs and expectations
  • Able to see the big picture and think outside the box to solve complex client needs
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between textual and visual elements

In this position at Worx Branding & Advertising, your duties will include, but are not limited to: designing for all types of creative media – including web, identity, advertising, print, email, direct marketing and broadcast; exercising web usability and best practices; the conceptual development and execution of brand communications programs, creative campaigns and design projects, including counseling internal and client-facing teams; analyzing competitive identities and visual systems; taking brand strategies and creating consistent, compelling creative; working within an account team or independently, taking responsibility to uphold scopes and assignments; managing smaller projects directly with clients; creating fully-realized concepts – including strategic insight, visual concepts, calls-to-action, and copy/content direction; developing "big ideas"; pushing our agency product forward with creative and strategically-sound ideas; leading brainstorming sessions; being a vocal player in all creative discussions; and any other duties that the position may warrant. Graphic Designer/Project Manager

With a member of our team at Miranda Creative in Norwich retiring in February, we are now interviewing for an experienced, talented and engaging graphic designer/project manager to assure a seamless transition. On the design side of the job description, this "creative type" provides design support for all aspect of brand development including print and new media.

While not a web developer/designer position, this role participates in developing images/resources for interactive design. As a project manager, you will coordinate between clients and vendors to assure that expectations are surpassed and that finished products arrive on time and on budget. With such mad skills you have every right to be a diva, but we hope to find a colleague who likes to be a team player, enjoys managing their own day, and would appreciate that our client relationships are long-standing because as a team, we’re outstanding.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity, as well as a degree in an appropriate area of study. In addition, we required strong Adobe Creative Suite skills. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits including health insurance coverage.

With a growing number of websites in production and under our umbrella for maintenance/support, Miranda Creative is seeking a highly organized colleague to improve communication between agency and clients while assuring a well-monitored workflow. The ideal candidate will have at least one-year of traffic/project management experience specifically in the web design/development industry, the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team, and appropriate education/training or degree for this evolving aspect of marketing. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits including health insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Define and engage appropriate project management software to address workflow on all aspects of website development/maintenance including responsive solutions.
  • Moderate weekly team production meetings to assure projects are on task/deadline.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests as well as content gathering from client and/or retained writers.
  • Research ever-increasing third-party vendors for cutting-edge website solutions.
  • Participate in new client meetings as well as proposal delivery.
  • Perform quality-control reviews on websites to assure that client goals/expectations are achieved and with a positive user experience.
