Join House Industries for an entertaining walk through through their new book, 
“The Process is the Inspiration” (2017, Watson-Guptill/Penguin Random House) 
at SoNo Spaces in South Norwalk, Connecticut.

In “The Process is the Inspiration”, House Industries answers the burning question, “Where do you find inspiration?” through an illustrative collection of helpful lessons, stories, and case studies that demonstrate how to transform obsessive curiosity into personally satisfying and successful work.

There will be a Q & A, as well as a book signing after the talk.

House Industries is a type foundry and design studio based in Yorklyn, Delaware. Admired for their iconic font collections and craft merchandise, House Industries has been at the forefront of American design for 25 years. House has worked with a diverse list of collaborators including Jimmy Kimmel, Hermès, The New Yorker, John Mayer, Muji, the Estate of Charles and Ray Eames, and Heath Ceramics. Their work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and will be the subject of a major exhibition at The Henry Ford museum in the summer of 2017.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to benefit the Connecticut Art Directors Club Annual Student Conference. The conference supports the next generation of design professionals through lectures, mentoring and scholarships.
