Posted on Saturday, April 4, 2015

We need a talented, motivated, hardworking graphic designer to work with us on fun, fresh projects for Edible Arrangements®. Our Junior Graphic Designer will report directly to one of our Senior Graphic Designers, and will be heavily involved in many of our Marketing efforts, especially those related to the award-winning Edible Arrangements® website.

We’re looking for someone who’s creative (obviously) and ready to help beautify our brand (and sell lots of fruit, of course) with great graphics. Your projects may include anything and everything, but here a few examples of some of the things of things we think you’ll work on with us: email campaigns, social media graphics, web banners, online banner ads, e-commerce content, digital menu boards and internal company projects. Other projects may include (but are not limited to) local store marketing material, in store signage and product innovation.

Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and kind of crazy environment, collaborate like a pro, and create WOW-worthy creative assets that ultimately perform.

  • We’ve been ranked on the Internet Retailer Top 500 list for the past 3 years (and counting).
  • We work at an extremely fast pace on a high volume of work, with a nimble (i.e. pretty small) Creative Team.

And here’s what we think you’re like:

  • You’ve got 2 – 4 years experience in graphic design.
  • You’re proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc.
  • You know best practices for digital and web design.
  • You’re a creative collaborator. You’re willing to learn and take direction from our creative leads.
  • You have the ability to prioritize and work efficiently based on (tight) timelines.
  • You’re a strategic thinker with an understanding of brand and marketing objectives.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with key people at Edible Arrangements International (including the E-commerce & Marketing Teams) and Netsolace (including Programming & Development Teams) to concept and create a variety of web-related materials.
  • Project manages 100% of their work 100% of time, from concept development and design through completion.
  • Designs creative materials for the web including site banners, landing pages, etc. to ensure all Edible
  • Arrangements® sites look impeccable and perform at their peak.
  • Seeks out creative direction from international and/or in-house design teams as needed.
  • Works cross-functionally with Creative/ Marketing Team to ensure Edible Arrangements® brand consistency in design.
  • Provides additional support as needed during major holidays/peak periods.

Job Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of web graphic design, layout and typography
  • Experience working with a creative agency preferred
  • We love photographers! Retouching and photography experience are always an added bonus
  • Be creative (naturally), detail-orientated and able to manage multiple tasks
