2017 CADC Student Conference
The Connecticut Directors Art Club is proud to present the 2017 Connecticut Art Director's Club Student Conference and Monica Wolff & Randall Smith Scholarship Competition for students in visual communications, graphic design, new media, illustration and photography programs. It is a fantastic opportunity to hear first hand the real-life perspectives on creative careers from leading design professionals. The Conference is free to attend and open to all students.

- 9:00am – 9:26am: Registration and free breakfast.
Meet and greet members of CADC
- 9:30am: Conference begins, Presidents welcome,
deadline to submit portfolios for scholarships*
- 9:35am: Keynote address
- 10:30am – 11:25pm: S/M/LR/XL Panel
- 11:30am – 12:25pm: Recent Grad Panel
- 12:30pm – 1:20pm: Lunch Break
- 1:25 – 1:30: Scholarships Announced
- 1:30pm – 2:30pm: Career Panel
- 2:30pm – 3:30pm: Portfolio Review
*Portfolios from accredited programs in the state of Connecticut are eligible for the 2016 Monica Wolff & Randall Smith Scholarship Competition. Eligible students must be in their first, second or third year of study. Fourth year or senior students are not eligible. Fourth year students have the opportunity to review their portfolio with a CADC member after lunch. Sign up is available during registration. Portfolios should consist of 8 – 10 pieces. Laptops, flash drives or other electronic devices are not accepted; only portfolios please. Visit the General Info page for more information.

The conference is free to attend and open to all students. It includes breakfast, lunch, and lots of free books and magazines donated by Connecticut’s creative community to benefit students. Help sustain our planet by bringing a reusable mug for beverages and your own bag for free materials and books!

Help us ensure that we can stay true to our mission by supporting the Monica Wolff & Randall Smith Scholarship fund. We are incredibly proud of the success we've had in creating and offering three $500 scholarships to students enrolled in an accredited design, illustration, or photography program in the state of Connecticut.
